Why are you standing up against the operations of WestCONnex?

I don’t like the future view for Sydney. It is ruining Sydney. WestCONnex does not solve the traffic problems. They (State Govt) are in to make money, there is no care for the environment. I will not go without a fight, no way.

How long have you been involved in the movement? And how long at this Sydney Park camp?

My family has been involved from the beginning. My father is 91 and comes here, and does the overnight shift at the camp.

What is your vision/the outcome you would like to see for this movement?

I want to see it stopped in its tracks. Laws are not on our (the communities) side. Not enough people power here. But it must stop now.

What are you known for in the camp, or in general by your loved ones?

I am the animal rescuer. I worked for WIRES and raised birds and possums. The wildlife at Sydney Park will feel the effects. Their life and habitats, which are their homes, are to be destroyed. The bush-tail possum lives in these areas, and they cannot be moved on, meaning re-habitation is stressful. It is difficult, as they are extremely territorial and will be challenged with fights from other possums.
